The Line25 Sites of the Week is a weekly roundup of the most outstanding website designs. In this week’s collection, we have designs from 45Royale, Postbox, Show & Tell, Web Designer Wall and Oakley.
45royale Inc
45Royale Inc is a small web design studio in Atlanta, Georgia. The 45Royale website features a vibrant and stunning galaxy as part of the header background, as well as a range of large, clear titles and blocks of info.
Postbox
Postbox is an application aimed at offering new ways to find, use and view email messages and content. The Postbox website has a super clean web-app style layout with large, crisp graphics and clear information set with plenty of white space.
Show & Tell
Show & Tell arrange consignment sales at a range of venues in the US, based around the topic of children’s clothes. The Show & Tell website is built with a unique palette of colours and some fine attention to details.
Web Designer Wall
Web Designer Wall is a blog aimed at presenting a wall of inspiration and ideas to designers. The Web Designer Wall website design makes use of a huge, intricate background illustration which sets the theme for a range of collage and distressed page elements within the design.
Oakley
Oakley is a popular manufacturer of sleek eyewear and apparel. The Oakley website design continues this sleek theme through a dark interface design. Based on a background of grungy concrete textures the product illustrations leap from the page.
WebDesignerWall will always be a favourite of mine (and i’m sure a lot of others, too!). I love the use of illustration on the postbox site too!
