Line25 Sites of the Week for May 1st 2009

The Line25 Sites of the Week is a weekly roundup of the most outstanding website designs. In this week’s collection, we have designs from Sqaured Eye, Ecoki, CSS Ninjas, Digital Mash and Outlaw Design Blog.

Squared Eye

Squared Eye is a web design studio from South Carolina. Their website is created with excellent attention to the layout of each page, and includes some great little touches such as the contact link that brings up a large speech bubbles from the whale mascot’s mouth.

Ecoki

Ecoki is an Eco lifestyle community where articles are created around the topic of being green. The Ecoki design links right back to the environmentally friendly theme with earthy tones and paper textures.

CSS Ninjas

CSS Ninjas is a XHTML/CSS coding service. Their website makes the most of the ninja theme with a collection of cute characters. The front page includes a bunch of useful information, well presented with large titles and a featured three-step area.

Digital Mash

Digital Mash is the portfolio site of Australian Designer Rob Morris. His site features a fantastic illustration on the homepage that takes screenshots of his work and manipulates them into a large spiralling ribbon. The huge typography is also a nice touch and introduces the site well.

Outlaw Design Blog

The Outlaw Design Blog has recently undergone a complete makeover. The new design takes inspiration straight from the name with a thorough western theme. This makes a really unique site which features some wonderful elements such as the cowboy hat and bullet holes.
