I like Vimeo's new design
Not exactly the most inspiring stuff online I'd say.
I really like what Little Red Letter have done, understated and easily navigated making good use of media queries and full width images.
Bravo.
The artwork for Vimeo is interesting and intricate, though I don't really like it as a website.
The other designs again prove that clean websites seem more professional, but those particular examples are lacking in eye-interest, personally.
I am getting really sick of the overuse of the ribbon in web design.
Iris has a nice clean design; not too intricate, but not too boring either.
the background pattern is really nice.

LOL. I found Olly Sorsby about 2 days ago in Dribbble. The only designer that stunned me. His works are so fantastic and most of them really suits my taste that are retro like and vintage looks. I bookmarked his blog for reference. Suddenly, he is listed here. like WOW!
The use of video on the Anthm site is very cool. I love how all of these websites make use of the full screen…
Dear Chris,
When I click a link to one of "the most outstanding website designs" you recommend in your post, a new browser window IS NOT opened. Instead of that, it is opened in the same window and I have to spend a lot of time looking for your site again just to visit a new one. It is really uncomfortable, and I don´t know too much about code, but I am sure you know how to avoid this situation.
Please, I love your posts but I do not like the browsing experience in your site.
Anyway I am a fan, so thank you very much for your site!
Wow, Vimeo has really been stepping it up.

Wow the people who designed these truly deserve immense praise for their creativity and knowledge. The Vimeo is my favourite but the Iris is also very nice with the iPad. It is great that you give credit to these designers, who after all the hard work can enjoy the praise for their work. I hope that such work is translated into a lot of traffic for them and conversions into sales. It amazes me how far development into design has gone, where it is now possible to do just about anything to manipulate a website design the way you wish and require. I do not have much knowledge into the coding aspect but can recognize hard-work when I look at the face of a website. Keep up the rankings coming Mr Spooner.
