The Line25 Sites of the Week is a weekly roundup of the most outstanding website designs. For this first collection, we have designs from Burger King Studio, Icon Dock, Seven Sparrows, ANIdea and Yokaboo.
Burger King Studio
Burger King Studio is a collaboration between Burger King (that’s right, the fast food Burger Kind) and cutting edge artists and designers. The site design reflects the creative nature of the studios with plenty of colour, paint and ink splatters and hand drawn elements for a cool low-fi look.
Icon Dock is the latest project from Nick La of N.Design Studio, a site offering stock icons in pixel and vector format. The front page header has an awesome illustration with vibrant purples and a range pf pixel sharp icon images. Overall it has a really high level of details, as well as an awesome cart system.
Seven Sparrows is the personal portfolio of freelance web designer Simone. The site has a really fresh design made up of cool blues and well spaced elements, not to mention a range of vector style bird silhouettes subtly scattered around the page.
ANIdea discusses various topics based around the subjects of Creativity, Technology, Strategy, Innovation and the Latest News. The ANIdea website has a great visual hierarchy and extremely solid structure. One key feature is the random and interchangeable backgrounds – very cool.
Yokaboo is a online service for creating your own independent clothes store. Along with the semi-Japanese sounding name, the style of the header with its range of bring fashion accessories also gives off a cool Harajuku feel.
