    I don’t think the designs are innovative.
    Actually they almost all look the same and follow the same principles.

    It seems like the trend is now:
    turn a website into a Powerpoint/slideshow style.

    Usually the first slide fills the screen.
    Has a solid color or dark photo in the background and a “creative” tagline.
    All have a flat flavor.

    Of course all sites shown here are brilliant but webdesign seems be stuck in some ways. I would like to see more graphic design … more illustration. And hey, all sites shown here are representing companies in the creative industry … isn’t ther life (and good designed sites) beyond that?

    The “Built” website is crazy good! The rustic style is perfect for a custom wood working company.

  5. Thomas Vimare is a super cool website. It looks retina ready and classy.
    Just one drawback which I found was it has a very slow loading speed which I think would be bad for visitors as well as Google SERPS

  8. All the themes are so good that now it is confusing which one to choose. Anyone who could help me out which theme would be the best in terms of design and load speed?
