Since the ‘trend’ became popular a number of years ago we’ve seen the idea of including some kind of illustrated character in a website’s design continuously reappear. This post showcases great use of character and mascot use in web design, including old classics as well as fresh examples.

came across fork couple of days ago while doing some CMS research, gotta say I love that site bigtime.

Pretty much one of the most elegant examples of responsive designs out there too. Makes me want to get back to the drawing board with my crappy responsive attempt.

Love the list! A couple of the websites on this list inspired us to make our own too. Although I find it a little tricky to pitch to clients sometimes. With examples like these and characters I know they will remember it makes it a lot easier!
