IMO, the top website of 2011 is a close race between Nike Better World & Nest.

  • Shaun Mclain

    Nice designs thanks for sharing.

  • Lea

My favourite is definitly the hungarian wines, no many fine details. great use of colour!

  • Robin Humphreys

  • Michael

Very inspiring list Chris! Some of these are also my faves for 2011. Although, I am not sure I want to know how many sites you looked at to come up with this list. :-P

I love Lost Type Co-op and not just because they looks amazing but i use them almost everyday. Great collection.

  • Custom SMF Themes

These are great, but there are definitely more great designs that are lost in the web because of bad webmasters.

  • Shkumbin Llullaku

Great selection to incite inspiration, I adore Paperplane.

Although I must say they resemble you're preferences :)

  • Jordan Terry

Sparkbox wins it for me! Not just because of the great design, but because of how they represent responsive design to the average Joe!

  • Gethyn

TwoFold is impressive – does it for me.

  • Reece Cropley

Great collection. It seems minimalist design and a great use of graphics are the latest trend in excellent web design. If only it was easy for every Tom, Dick and Harry to put designs together like these.

  • OuterBox eCommerce

I love the end of the year and seeing all of the 2011 lists. This is one of the best! Thanks

That Tower page is a really nice design. The developer can be proud of it. Really good job.

  • CJ Spencer

Thanks for putting Visua in your list dude, really means a lot :) Keep the lists comin' in 2012!

  • Linh

Nice collection! I am so glad I stumbled upon this list. Very inspiring. I especially love Push website because you can see the different layout for different type of devices. I am looking into making an website compatible with different devices so it's a great example.

  • Julian

Thanks for including Tower! All the best for 2012.
