Think of the colour schemes we tend to see modern web design. Aside from the plenty of minimalist sites made up of white and grey tones, often websites are constructed with just a single highlighting colour against a white backdrop. However, in this showcase we can see there’s some really adventurous designers out there who mix and match some unusual colour combinations. These designs feature colours you probably would have thought of, but they all look great and work perfectly together with beautiful contrast.

Designed to Move is the perfect example of a flashy site that fails on the modern Web.
There are no images I can share whatsoever. The infographic is only available as PDF and I can’t even +1 it properly because the button is hidden behind a frame.

You should check namecheap’s new design. Isn’t it similar to Activate Media

Wrist is a sick site. I really like their design work.

Producer’s Mixtape really stood out. The colors are very 80s!

  4. Moresleep is pretty neat!

  5. I like this showcase a lot, but ” Design to move” seems very regular to me.

While my personal favorite is Chec (for their use of warm and beautiful colors!), I am surprised to see so many color palettes that include a mint green! Maybe that’s the trendy color of the moment in web design?

Rook – Lovely use of colour and design. My fav of the lot.

Poppin – Shame they had to use crass language to try and make a point. Not needed.

Desktime – Great colours to distinguish between the two functions of the site. Nice use of video/moving images also.

  14. Lincoln says:

The warmth and attractive colors will helps to attract to the web pages. Thanks for sharing these information.

  15. Yup they look cool as a part of color therapy but my personal view would be, not to use green color and bright colors as they might cause harm to read and also, our eyes reflect less to bright green color (if you have visited an optician ever)

  19. More Sleep and Poppin are my personal favourite. Although not much of colors in them but they look classy and business suited. Rest, not much of business suited as they look funky

  20. Very inspiring collection. Personally “TriplAgent” is the favorite one.
